Been Having Trouble Lately

My computer's been down pretty much all day yesterday. Whenever I'd try to do anything, it would shut down on me. Right now I have the cover open and the computer on its side with a fan blowing cool air into it. Hopefully this won't be permanent.
EDIT
I figured out what the problem was: The thermal compound wasn't good anymore, so it needed a new application.

I will be in Colorado for the first time in eight years from March 7th to the 14th of next year. I will be hanging out with my brother and sister in-law as well as my D&D buddies out there.
